It’s almost impossible to resist a good photo op, right!? So right - we’re with you, girl. Instead of scouring the internet + stores trying to find the perfect backdrop for pics with your squad - why not make one!? 

We love to get a little crafty - so dust off your glue gun, bust out the scissors,and get ready to make something unforgettable.

DIY POLAROID FRAME PHOTO BOOTH

We’ve included plenty of inspo (shoutout Pinterest!) to customize your frame and to make it your own. Perfect for bridal showers, backdrop during your bachelorette weekend, or even just a night with your girls.

What you’ll need:

  • 32” x 40” foam core board or poster board

  • craft knife

  • large straight edge ruler

  • marker(s)

  • glue gun

  • Add your own personal touches with: faux flowers, patterned wallpaper, balloons, greenery, lace, stickers, glitter, whatever you can dream up

Materials to hang polaroid frame (optional):

  • oversized clothespins

  • string/rope 

*backdrop stand (you can DIY using a PVC pipes tutorial here or Amazon sells a premade kit here)


Step One:

Using a craft knife or scissors, cut out the middle of an extra-large piece of foam core or poster board, being sure to keep the bottom border twice as wide as the top and sides

Step Two:

 Use flowers cut out from wallpaper, faux flowers (be sure to cut off the stems!), greenery, etc. to decorate and stick on the frame. Secure decor with glue gun if needed!

Step Three:

Add a cute #hashtag, date, or bride-to-be’s name on the frame! Stylize it however you like

Step Four:

 If planning to hang from a wire, poke holes in the top corners of the foam core with a craft knife

Step Five:

 Hang up the frame using string or wire, attach to a backdrop stand if applicable (or you can use it as a prop and hold it!). To add a little color - set up a backdrop behind it, add props, create a theme, or embellish with a balloon garland! The possible are literally endless.
