SURPRISE. You're engaged! You just had your surprise engagement party with all your friends and family. You were completely surprised, you now have a beautiful ring on your finger and you're going to marry the man of your dream.

NOW, the fun stuff starts~ planning a bachelorette party(with the help of Got Your Bach, OBVI), a wedding and a honeymoon.

The Bachelorette Party - the best party a group of girls can throw. Showering a beautiful soon to be bride with a fun theme, typically somewhere fun and most importantly with all the people you love! Whoever is helping plan the bachelorette party - this is for YOU! (&& the bride, of course)

Make it PERSONAL

~ ask the bride all the questions.

~ Her preferences {casual weekend or fancy (boujie) weekend}

~ Personal expectations

~ Games (about her and her fiance), experiences, activities, & gifts (lingerie, etc)

~Theme, Location & Guests (don’t stress on guests)

Backup plan

Weather always plays a cost. If you're going to a tropical destination, check the extended forecast and look up the best months to travel to “so and so.” It would be a huge disappointment if you picked Florida during the intense rainy season or an island in the Caribbean during Hurricane Season. (you might have to cancel the whole trip if a hurricane is in its projected path.) I think we also were taught something in this crazy year of  2020, we have all been living through - A pandemic will really screw things up, so be mindful of traveling internationally (borders might be closed which hinders travel plans)

Cost

DON'T underestimate cost. Set a budget with the bride. Be upfront with how much things cost. Trust me, everyone will be happy in the long run if you have budgeted for everything you plan on doing.

Make a timeline but give yourself some time gaps. Traveling always calls for delays, traffic happens, missing a reservation happens, activities go longer, sometimes it’s just life and you can’t play by the book!
