 Brunch Breakdown: Dallas, Texas

When I think of women from Dallas, I think of a Texas version of Carrie Bradshaw- a woman and a city always on the move, marching to the beat of their own drum, trendy outfits, and what's Carrie without her best friends and their go-to brunch spot? We have compiled a list of the cutest and most delicious brunch places in Dallas!

“Beverley’s (brunch)... that's where I want to be!”- Weezer, probably. This super modern and trendy restaurant serves brunch on Saturday’s and Sunday’s, you don't want to miss it! Beverley’s Bistro and Bar serves American favorites with a little twist. A fan favorite is their delicious Chilquiles served with the brightest sunny side-up egg! But if you’re more of a sweet kind of gal, then the Challah French Toast is for you- it has beautiful bruleed bananas and the best caramel sauce!

Beverleys also has an extensive lists of specialty cocktails, such as Bev’s Espresso Martini: Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, Licor 43, Vodka, Espresso, Nutmeg, Orange Zest. They serve wine by the glass as well, but don't forget to pair anything you get with the sticky toffee cake!

Next on our list will have you “Walkin’ On Sunshine” as you enter UP Inspired Kitchen! This super cute, ready for a photo gem is perfect for the late breakfast you and your girls want to go to after you partied a little too hard the night before. ;) Before you ask, yes, they have a very extensive list of toasts that includes avocado toast and even burrata! And for our gals that love a nice breakfast bowl there is a ton to choose from, fruity acai bowls and even perfectly marinated short rib bowls for something heavier!

UP Inspired Kitchen serves all kinds of coffee and hot drinks that will make sure to wake you up, but for those harder mornings, you can get a smoothie to help you get your day started! For a special morning cocktail, grab their mimosa sampler served with BTL Cristalino and 3 Juices.

Yall! When I saw this restaurant I was in awe of how cute it was, you definitely have to come here if you're looking for something effortlessly beautiful, for starters it's centered around a beautiful garden! Paradiso is truly paradise in Dallas, Texas. Brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays, so you should definitely stop by, even if it's just for photos!

Of course this restaurant has the quintessential brunch foods like french toast and biscuits & gravy, but their menu expands to things such as breakfast pizza that is topped with a beautiful egg. They also specialize in Southern-European food, so they have some delicious pastas on their menu!

Like most breakfast places, Paradiso has a list of some awesome cocktails that you are sure to enjoy! They have a Pink Matter cocktail that has rose reduction, peychaud's bitters bianco vermouth, dry vermouth, and gin- what girl doesn’t like a little pink in their life?

We all know that Texas is known for its Tex-Mex, but what’s the perfect match? Tex-Mex and Brunch, that’s why we are suggesting Mexican Sugar Cocina and Cantina! Everything you see on the menu has bold flavors made from scratch right in the cocina! They take normal, seemingly “boring” dishes, such as pancakes and add a little Latin ~flare~, such as Vanilla Cinnamon Pancakes. This is served with fruit and spiced bacon! They also have a quesadilla, but it is stuffed with fresh ingredients such as pico de gallo and guacamole.

You can not go to a Tex-Mex brunch without trying one of their fabulous margaritas or sangrias! Mexican Sugar has a wide variety of cocktails that will satisfy anyone's taste buds, but their margs are what make us want to put on a sombrero and sing! Their Hibiscus Margarita has Cazadores Reposado, hibiscus-infused water, simple syrup, lime, and orange liqueur. You can't go wrong with any drink!

I was on the hunt for a brunch place that had a charcuterie board because we all know we have become addicted to eating and making them in the past year, so you're definitely going to want to go to Chelsea Corner! The board has artisan meats, delicious cheeses and sweet, dried fruit- definitely something you can share with your best friends! This menu can easily accommodate any dietary need/preference, they have an impossible burger that is: plant based impossible patty with sautéed portabella mushrooms, avocado, oven dried tomatoes, boursin cheese, and balsamic reduction. They also have a wide variety of pizzas such as their Chelsea Original that is topped with asiago, mozzarella, spicy italian sausage, sweet basil!

If your crew likes a boozy brunch then Chelsea’s has some drinks that you are sure to love, such as their refreshing Basil Cucumber Spritz! But if you’d like to add a little bit of ~spice~ to your morning, then you cant go wrong with the Spicy Maria! It is made with tanteo pepper infused tequila, house bloody mary mix, and a tajin rim. They are sure to have  a drink for anyone!

If you’re on the hunt for some good ole southern home cookin, then Smithy’s is just what you're looking for. They locally source their ingredients which makes their food as fresh as it can be! We can all acknowledge that we may get a little too wild on weekends like this, so Smithy has you covered. They have a meal specifically catered towards hangovers ;) its called “The Hangover 2.0”- it will surely make you feel better. It is a jumbo buttermilk biscuit, habanero fried chicken, bourbon maple syrup, cage-free eggs, sausage, brown sugar pecan peppered bacon, hash browns, roasted poblano cream gravy … kind of like chicken and waffles, but elevated.

Smithy’s has an extensive list of local drafts that you should definitely try, such as their temptress nitro stout! But if you’re in the mood for something a little more fruity, then you should order one of their fine spirits, like “That's My Jam” it is made with Lillet Rose, vodka, lemon, strawberry preserves, garnished with the peel of cucumber! You should pair any of their drinks with their perfectly seasoned truffle fries.

Dallas has a TON of brunch options, these are just our fave! We hope this list helps you out with where you unleash your inner “brunchatarian” while in Dallas! You can not go wrong with any of them whether that's for food, drinks or for cute Instagram pics!
